Deal's Creek
RECORDING SESSION PERFORMANCES
Friday and Saturday
November 26 & 27, 2010, 7:30 pm

From Laird, Saskatchewan, this six piece band plays a unique blend of country rock and classics from the 60's and 70's that are sure to entertain. With 6 lead vocalists, blended harmonies, and solid musicianship, Deal's Creek is guaranteed to be a night you'll enjoy.

Ted Regier, Laurie Regier, Pete Regier, Steve Regier, Grant Wieler, and Howard Wieler make up the band and, as you might have guessed, we are all related. As one fan put it, "These guys have a chemistry I've rarely seen - you can sure tell they're havin' a good time".

So, what's with the name? About 100 years ago our great-great grandfather (and great-grandfather) bought a piece of land from a Mr. Diehl which borders an incredible creek that flows to the mighty North Saskatchewan river. From that purchase came a generation of farmers, including all of the members of Deal's Creek - and the rest is history. This band is all about the love of music, enjoying each other's company, and doing whatever it takes to make sure their audience enjoys the show!

These performances will be Deal's Creek's first at the Station Arts Centre, and along with the audience will be recorded live for an upcoming CD.
We look forward to sharing this experience with you!
